President Akufo-Addo has appointed the acting Auditor-General, Johnson Akuamoah Asiedu, as the substantive Auditor-General.
Per the appointment letter, his appointment takes retrospective effect from August 27, 2021.
This was contained in the letter dated September 7, 2021, which was signed by the Chief of staff, Madam Akosua Frema Osei-Opare.
