Director, Metro Public Health Department at the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA), Madam Florence Kuukyi has advised Ghanaians not to treat the Covid-19 virus as a joke or myth.
As someone who has survived the virus, she wants the general public to be responsible and adhere to the safety protocols.
Being an environmental health professional and someone who adhered to the safety protocols and yet got infected, she believes the Ghanaian public must be conscious and be safe.
To her, it is important to be responsible so we can contain the virus.
According to her, the least number of persons who are buried sometimes daily due to Covid-19 is five.
The virus she advised is real and Ghanaians have a responsibility to stay safe, protect themselves so they don’t become a threat to others.
She also asked those who were to get vaccinated to do so when the opportunity arises.
