The Vice President, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, has donated an amount of Ghc50,000 to veteran actor Psalm Adjeteyfio to settle his rent bill.s
The donation comes after the actor had appealed for support in a recent interview.
Psalm Adjeteyfio had said he needed GHS 3,000 to foot that bill or he would be ejected from the house.
The Vice President, seeing the video of the interview, asked his representative to contact the presenter Emmanuel Agyemang who interviewed the actor so he could reach him.
The Vice President through the rep presented GHS 30,000 to pay for the actor’s rent for five years.
He has also given him GHS 20,000 for his general upkeep.
