Nominee for the Awutu Senya West Municipal Assembly, Joseph Aidoo, has expressed gratitude to President Akufo-Addo for nominating him.
He has pledged to discharge his duties with utmost integrity, competence and dedication.
Speaking to Rainbow Radio’s Nana Yaw Asare, he said he feels elated for the appointment and will ensure that he works hard to ensure that the second term of President Akufo-Addo is successful.
The nominee said if approved, he would not disappoint the President and the people in the area.
On the issue of roads, he said the government remains committed to ensuring that all poor road networks are repaired.
Mr. Joseph Aidoo added that one other issue he would address is youth unemployment adding, he would be working on several youth enterprises for the collective good of the area.
He disclosed that the former MCE Mr. Stephen Kwame Quaye has congratulated him and promised to support him.
