The People of Gonten, are in no mood to let the life-enhancing opportunity being provided by the Atta-Mills Institute (AMI), pass them by as they dig their feet into the construction of the Shelter to house the corn and Cassava mills the AMI is making available to them.
Having cut to sod last Saturday, and having finished with the necessary spade work, the brick and mortar components of the construction kicked-in today.
As serious as they are, rather than revel in today’s holiday, the People of Gonten chose to spend the day working as part of their contribution to the project.
As mentioned earlier, this Project falls under the ambit of AMI’s Community Improvement Programme (CIP), which is aimed at supporting the less advantaged in as many spheres of human existence as is possible.
Individuals and Organisations interested in supporting the AMI’s CIP Agenda are welcome so to do.
To God be the glory great things He has done, and greater things He shall do.
