Assembly members in the Amansie West District of the Ashanti have confirmed the nominee of President Akufo-Addo.
The assembly members approved the nominee Nii Lartey Ollenu on Friday, September 24, 2021.
He garnered 89% of the votes to be confirmed by the assembly members.
Thirty-five (35) Out of 39 assembly members voted yes for the nominee to approve him.
The assembly members had described the nominee as an efficient DCE.
Prior to his nomination, some of them had justified reasons why they felt he should be maintained.
