Former Greater Accra Regional Minister Ishmael Ashitey has promised to restore the New Patriotic Party’s seats it lost in the 2020 parliamentary elections should he be elected as the National Chairman.
Speaking on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, he posited that none of the persons who have expressed interest in the position would beat him.
According to him, he is far superior compared to the rest by competence and experience.
Mr. Ashitey said he is the most experienced person for the job when it comes to political party management.
He encouraged the government and all appointees to work in the interest of the people so it would help the NPP break the eight as they have promised to do.
The aspirant was optimistic with his experience and competence the party would win the majority of seats in the next parliament with more than 160 seats compared to the 137 they have today.
Mr. Ishmael Ashitey noted that he would also ensure that the party rewards loyalty, appreciate those who have sacrificed for the NPP and does not neglect them.
He bemoaned how sometimes the party sometimes forget those who have sacrificed for them to come into the office.
According to him, winning an election is something he is gifted with and with the support of God, he would deliver victory for the NPP in both the presidential and parliamentary elections.
He insisted all appointees must put their shoulders to their wheel and support the party to convince Ghanaians that it has achieved what they promised to do.
