The Member of Parliament for Yendi constituency Farouk Aliu Mahama has refuted claims of the passing of his mother and former FSecond Lady H.E Hajia Ramatu Aliu Mahama( neè Egala).
The legislator, in a short statement, asked the public to ignore the news because it is fake.
He was responding to the news which went round that the former Second Lady had passed.
He asked the public to leave the matter of health and the death of people to Allah.

I have taken note of an unfortunate rumour making the rounds about my mom, the Former Second Lady, H.E Hajia Ramatu Aliu Mahama( neè Egala).
My mom is alive. We should leave matters of death and health in the hands of the Almighty Allah.
Members of the public should please disregard the reports.
