The Okaikwei Central constituency youth organizer for the New Patriotic Party, Oliver Ofori Baah, has advised nominated Metropolitan, Municipal, District Chief Executives to see their appointment as an opportunity to serve.
The young politician said the appointment is not for them to be lords over the people but servants.
He encouraged them to be guided by the vision of the President and discharge their duties in a manner that will make Ghanaians trust the government.
He opined that the MMDCEs are the representatives of the President at the local level hence they must not do things that will give the government a bad name.
Meanwhile, he has also appealed to the assembly members in the various districts, municipalities, and metropolitan areas to endorse the nominees of the President.
He described them a competent and persons ready to serve.
