A communication and research team member of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana K. Yeboah has expressed disappointment in lawyer Akoto Ampaw for joining forces with 17 others to oppose the anti-LGBTQI+ bill.
The communicator said he feels ashamed that a respected lawyer and member of the ruling government will oppose such a bill.
Speaking on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, he indicated that the activities of the LGBTQI+ community are an affront to the values of the country.
In his view, such persons are not entitled to any human rights and must be treated as criminals.
He asserted that lawyer Ampaw is behaving as if he has lost his value and a homosexual, hence his opposition to the bill.
He warned government officials who would oppose the bill to tread cautiously because no one would be spared for opposing the bill.
