The wife of the prophet who allegedly prophesied about the shooting of dancehall musician Shatta Wale, Jesus Ahuofe, Vivian Appiah has disclosed that her husband has been kept at the Greater Accra Regional Police Station for close to 48hours without bail.
According to her, when they asked about the complainant in the matter, they were told there was no complainant.
However, the Police could arrest suspects without having to receive any official complaints.
She stated that they had made efforts to secure the prophet bail, but it proved futile.
She revealed the CIOD had told them they would grant her husband bail yesterday, Tuesday, October 19, 2021, but that did not materialize.
“They’ve been keeping my husband here and saying it’s an order from above. So we want to know who gave the order from above. They should prove what my husband has done, or take us to court for us to go and prove our case there.”
Bishop Stephen Kwesi Appiah was arrested on Tuesday, October 19, 2021.
He was arrested in connection to a prophecy he made that dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, would be shot on October 18, 2021.
