Nkwanta Atwedefuohene in the Oti Region Nana Kanewu Chadre II, has said the chiefs and people would not forget about the works of former President John Dramani Mahama.
The traditional ruler indicated the former President did a lot for the region, and for that reason, they will forever remain grateful to him.
He asserted that the people of the region saw how massive the things Mahama did, and that was why they did not hesitate to vote massively for him.
He made the remarks when Mr. Mahama paid a courtesy call on him and his subjects as part of his ‘Thank You Tour.
The presidential candidate for the NDC in 2020, he touted his achievements for the Oti Region, which was previously part of the Volta Region.
The projects include: the E- blocks which Oti Region has benefited 4
And the roads that he has completed in his time of office, an extension of electricity and water to some communities.
He reiterated that the 2020 parliamentary and presidential elections were free, fair and transparent, as the Electoral Commissioner, Mrs. Jean Mensa, claimed.
He said the elections were flawed, with the EC manipulating the results to favour the ruling government.
