President Akufo-Addo has taken a swipe at former President John Dramani Mahama again for claiming that he (Nana Addo) has mismanaged the economy.
The President said it is very shocking that such comments as coming from the lips of someone who failed to manage the economy well when he was president.
He described the claims by Mr. Mahama as tendentious politics meant to deceive Ghanaians.
He posited that probably the English language being used by Mr. Mahama is something he does not understand.
He said if Mr. Mahama was the one who was in government, Ghana would have been buried by now, especially with the outbreak of the Covid-19.
He was speaking on Accra-based Peace Fm where he insisted that Mr. Mahama failed Ghanaians and has no moral right to accuse him of mismanagement.
He added that the economic growth witnessed under his (Nana Addo’s) government was reflected in the lives of Ghanaians.
