The founder and leader of Life Assembly Worship Center to Christian Kwabena Andrews aka Osofo Kyiri Abosom, has described prophets who prophesy about the death of popular people as fake.
He explained that prophets must not seek fame and popularity and peddle falsehoods with their prophecies.
The man of God asserted that we have to move away from the era where some prophets create fear and panic through their doomsday prophecies.
To him, prophets must apply wisdom in their prophecies and stop the public display of their tomfoolery.
Osofo Kyiri Abosom added that we must classify all prophets who prophesy about issues that do not come to pass as false prophets.
He took the opportunity to also ask the Inspector General Police to arrest all prophets who prophesy about the death of people.
The man of God who contested the 2020 presidential election described such prophecies as doomsday prophecies.
He told Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm that such prophecies create fear and panic.
He is therefore asking the IGP to extend an invitation to prophets who would make such prophecies.
He said any prophet who prophesies about death should be made to sign a bond and be held responsible for any harm that will befall the people they prophesy about.
According to him, such prophecies open those persons up for attacks from their enemies and other bad people.
He said people could take advantage of the situation and harm those the prophecy was about, harm or even kill them.
