Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has extended his gratitude to Ghanaians for the support he and his family received as they held the final funeral rites for his late mother Hajia Mariama Bazwumia.
Hr expressed special gratitude to President Akufo-Addo, the First Lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo, Chief of Staff Madam Frema Opare and all the top officials who supported him and the family.
The final funeral rites of Hajia Mariama Bawumia, the mother of Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, were held on October 24, 2021.
This follows her burial on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Walewale per Islamic customs.
Mourners from all political divides, state agencies, among others joined the bereaved family to give Hajia Bawumia a befitting burial.
