Twenty-Nine (29) persons have been arraigned in court for allegedly assaulting Police Officers and Seizing a Riot Control Weapon at Luhuor Near Sege, Ada.
The Tema Regional Police Command arraigned the twenty-nine suspects before the Tema Circuit Court A, on Monday, 25th October 2021.
According to the Police, the suspects were arrested and arraigned for assaulting two Police officers and seizing a riot control weapon and a box of ammunition at Luhuor, a community near Sege, Ada.
The Police disclosed that 39 persons were arrested and screened out of which the 29 were subsequently arraigned.
The suspects according to the Police took some officers hostage while they were responding to a distress call in at Electrochem Ghana Limited.
