Residents at Sukunu Awenfi and Sukunu Budu of the Upper West Akim District have reminded President Akufo-Addo and the MCE Eugene Sackey of their promise to fix their deplorable road.
The residents told Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm that the President and his MCE promised to repair their deplorable road and that is a promise they have to keep.
The residents lamented that the deplorable road is not accessible and that is making access to transportation difficult for farmers and pregnant women.
They promised to hold the government to account and keep demanding that the poor road, is fixed.
In their view, leaders cannot make promises they cannot keep, and Ghanaians must always hold their leaders to account.
According to them, they deserve a portion of their national cake because they are part of the country.
Aside from the poor road network, the residents say they lack access to potable drinking water.
