The family of the late Samuna Larhan, the 15-year-old student of Konongo Odumase Senior High School (KOSS) who was stabbed to death allegedly by his colleagues is demanding justice.
They also blamed the school for the death of their son but wants the offenders penalized.
According to the family, the persons who allegedly stabbed their son to death must face the law for what they did.
Alhaji Mallam Baaba Abubakar, an uncle to the deceased said the incident smacks negligence on the part of the school.
He noted that security in the school was extremely poor and the school was careless about the students.
In his view, if the school was indeed interested in giving the students the best care, the incident would not have happened.
“As a senior housemaster, why should you go and sleep when the students were not asleep. You have to supervise the students. Security in the school was also terrible. If security was intensive, the issue would not have happened. This was due to negligence.
The family is devastated and wants justice served. The deceased was a gentle soul and respectful but, unfortunately, we have lost him”.
