Traders, drivers, and residents plying the Kwahu Sempoa market road have enabled the immediate repair of the desirable road in the area.
According to them, the deplorable nature of the road has affected trading activities.
The residents and traders and drivers also alleged that the deplorable nature of the road has exposed them to danger.
They indicated that armed robbers have taken advantage of the situation to rob them on regular basis.
Some persons are also sexually abused by their attackers, they alleged further.
A trader speaking to Nyankonton Mu Nsem said “the road network is deplorable. It is bad and traders, drivers, and their vehicles struggle to commute the road”.
The traders, who are mostly women also could not hold back their displeasures on the uncomfortable situation they usually go through on the road and thus called on the government and Kwahu East District Assembly to urgently fix the situation to stop armed robbers from raping and robbing them of their hard-earned monies.
