A woman who is in kate 30s, Gladys Tarki popularly known as Adwoa Armah has attempted suicide over Ghc500.
The woman according Rainbow Radio’s Oheneba Ambrose attempted to take her life by drinking a substance suspected to be weedicide at Assin Dompim in the Assin Foso Municipality of the Central.
She is said to have attempted suicide because her Ghc500 had gone missing.
She is said to have asked her children about the missing money but they had no knowledge of it.
It was for this reason she attempted to kill herself.
Her sister-in-law Dorcas Emil popularly known as Esi Atta who got the information about the incident collapsed.
In an unfortunate turn of events, the ambulance which was transporting her to the hospital for medical attention got involved in an accident
According to Oheneba Ambrose, the sister-in-law’s condition has worsened, and transferred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
Meanwhile, the woman who attempted suicide is responding to treatment.
Some residents and neighbours have slammed her and accused her of putting her sister-in-law in her current state.
