The residents of Akyem Soabe in the Denkyembour district of the Eastern region have complained bitterly over the deplorable nature of their road.
The residents told Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm that the road is now a death trap, and until it is repaired, the lives of users would be at risk.
According to them, the road was left in a more deplorable state some two years ago after a heavy downpour.
The residents disclosed they had consistently demanded the road to be repaired even before the heavy downpour but authorities have failed to act.
Ther residents claimed the politicians keep giving false hopes, especially in election years.
Drivers, they say, have refused to ply the area for fear of having their vehicles damaged.
They, therefore, want authorities to repair the deplorable road, or they would advise themselves.
