The Member of Parliament for Builsa South Dr. Clement Apaak has called for an investigation into the appearance of Adwoa Safo, the MP for Dome Kwabenya in parliament on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, when the decision to reject the budget was reversed and same approved with only the Majority present.
The appearance of the legislator has become a bone of contention with the Minority raising concerns that the one who represented the legislator was an imposter.
Sarah Adwoa Safo has been absent from Parliament for some time now following an extension of her leave which was granted by the President.
She has become the subject of public debate following allegations that she was impersonated during Tuesday’s proceedings in the House.
She appeared in Parliament on Tuesday in a face mask and left immediately after the proceedings.
But appearing today, Wednesday, she was without her face mask
This has triggered some concerns from the Minority demanding for an investigation.
Dr. Apaak says the issue of impersonation is a criminal offence and must be dealt with.
He said “Hon. Adwoa Sarfo today (top) and Hon. Adwoa Sarfo, who was counted yesterday (below).

How Hon. Adwoa Sarfo could transform this much in less than 24hr must be investigated. The imposter and those who brought her to impersonate ought not get away with this crime. Most shocking.”
