The Northern Regional branch of the Coalition of Commercial Transport operators has directed its members to embark on sit-down strike.
The sit-down is starting this morning, Monday, December 6, 2021.
The directive says the strike will continue till the government scrap all petroleum taxes as transport operators demand.
The branch has also admonished commuters to bear with their action.
It stressed the need for all members to comply with the directive.
