The Police have arrested six suspects on Friday, December 3, 2021, for their involvement in an illegal AK 47 transaction.
A statement issued by the Police said the first suspect Alhassan Jamah was arrested at Osino by the National Operation Directorate.
A search conducted in his car made the police discover AK 47 rifle with twelve rounds of ammunition hidden in his travelling bag.
A police intelligence operation led to the arrest of the five other suspects for their involvement in the illegal transaction.
