A group calling itself Alliance of Drivers Ghana has described as unacceptable the behaviour of some drivers during the sit-down on Monday.
Some drivers had their vehicles damaged while others were physically attacked on grounds that they failed to participate in the strike action.
The group said destroying property, blocking of roads, and harassing of commuters were unlawful.
It further commended the government for directing GOIL to reduce fuel prices by 15 pesewas per litre.
