Members of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) have been asked to unite, forgive each other, and stay committed to God as a political party.
Delivering a sermon at the service organized by the party at its ongoing National Delegates Conference, today, Sunday, December 19, 2021, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the National Peace Council, Right Reverend Christopher Nyarko Andam urged the party to remain united.
The man of God asked the members to find a place in their hearts to forgive each other, stay united, and work together.
According to him, the season of Christmas is an opportunity that the Lord Jesus reconciled us with our creator so we can stay in unity with God the creator.
He noted that in unity there is strength and as a party, members must reconcile with one another through forgiveness.
He added that one of the words used to represent unity is party and NPP as a party without unity is not a political party.
He prayed and asked God to unite the NPP so they would be united with one objective, grow towards another in love, and all of their march towards one goal.
He further advised them not to rally around individuals as a political party but rather rally behind the objectives of the party and support it.
