Ghana is now better than the US & UK, don’t allow NDC to come & destroy it-Wontumi

December 19, 2021

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Bosiako aka Chairman Wontumi has advised members of the party not to allow disunity to deprive them of victory in 2024.

He said if the party allows disunity to enter the party, Ghanaians will suffer and the economy will suffer.

A similar incident he lamented happened under former President John Agyekum Kufour.

He said the era of Kufour saw tremendous growth but disunity allowed the party to lose to the NDC and after they won, they destroyed the foundations built by Kufour.

To him, Ghana under President Akufo-Addo has performed better than the United Kingdom and the United States of America.

In his welcome address at the delegates conference of the NPP, he said the NDC will not be able to stop the NPP from winning the 2024 polls and beyond.

He said despite the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus, the President has rolled out several policies to make the economy perform better.

He stressed the need for the party members to keep working hard and retain the NPP in office to preserve the legacies of the party.

He posited that the NDC had nothing better to offer Ghanaians considering their track record.
