The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has asked the dulling New Patriotic Party (NPP) to consider the economic hardship Ghanaians are going through as they organize their national delegates’ congress.
The party delivering its fraternal greetings at the conference, the party posited that Ghanaians were suffering and her the government has planned to impose “draconian taxes” to further burden Ghanaians.
The party’s Ashanti regional secretary Kwame Zuh said the party must properly reflect the many economic issues that afflict and agonize Ghanaians.
He said all categories of workers in Ghana are not in support of the new taxes introduced by the government.
The electronic levy introduced by the government he stated would further affect the lives of Ghana.
He prayed and expressed optimism that the NPP will hand over a peaceful Ghana to the NDC because they will win the 2024 polls.
