The Ebuasuapanyin of Gomoa Fetteh Nana Kwoa Abeka has urged all hospitals in the Gomoa East district to help the Police arrest the suspects who escaped from arrest in the foiled assassination attempt of the chief of the area.
He Is asking all hospitals and clinics in the area to look out for persons who would come to their facilities with gunshot wounds.
He was addressing the media following a foiled assassination attempt on the chief of the area.
The Police gathered intelligence that there were some eight persons onboard a taxi on their way to assassinate the chief.
The Police followed and in the process engaged in a gun battle with the suspects which led to the death of five of the suspects.
The rest of the suspects escaped from arrest.
It is for this reason that the Ebuasuapanyin has asked the public to support the police in arresting the suspects.
He said the persons who were contracted to assassinate the chief, Nana Abor Atta II must be fished out.
He finally urged the residents of Gomoa Fetteh to keep calm while the Police are on grounds to protect lives and property.
