A 30-year-old woman is currently battling her life after her lover allegedly poured acid on her face and other parts of her body over an argument about a phone at Awutu Bawjiase in the Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region.
The suspect, Ishmael Atsitso Agbo popularly known as King Duga travelled all the from Kasoa to Awutu Bawjiase to visit the lover to carry out his criminal act.
The victim, Comfort Yawiah, revealed that they are having issues with who to take care of their son because their relationship was on the verge of collapse.
Comfort indicated that, when King Duga came to her house, started accusing her of cheating due to numerous calls she is having.
The victim said after the heated argument with his lover, she decided to sleep but after 5 minutes the suspect poured the acid on her face, breast through her vagina.
The mother of the victim, Helena Mensah who could not control her tears asked the Police to deal with the suspect.
She described the incident as unfortunate and the suspect as wicked.
