The three teenagers who have been accused of gruesomely killing a naval officer at Bakado near Sekondi have appeared before a Sekondi District Magistrate court, today, Thursday, December 30, 2021
The three, all students between 17 and 18 have admitted committing the act.
However, the Police have appealed to the court to grant their request for more time so they could continue with their investigations.
The court, Presided over by Catherine Obiri Addo has accordingly adjourned the case till January 14, 2022.
The suspects are Patrick Baidoo, 18; Joseph Lord Nii Adjei Odiku, 17; and Adolf Eshun, 18 years.
The Naval Officer, AB1 Boateng Okyere of Bakaano, Sekondi in the Western region, was working as a Bolt driver when the three allegedly attacked him.
He later died at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra.

Police investigation has revealed that when they got to Bakaano and they asked him to hand over the keys, he refused, hence they poured the petrol on him and burnt him.
