The Ghana Police Service has disclosed that five armed robbers have been killed with six others arrested.
A brief statement issued by the Police revealed that the armed robbers were killed through special anti-robbery intelligence led operations.
The service said the operations were carried out for a period of 48 hours.
According to the Police, the five who were killed engaged the service in a gun battle.
The brief statement said “Series of special Anti-Robbery intelligence-led operations were carried out throughout the country in the past 48 hours.
During the operations, 6 robbery suspects were arrested and five others killed in a gun battle with the Police.
Meanwhile, similar operations are in progress in the Northern and Western North Regions.
