Some of our prophets lack wisdom when communicating prophecies-Apostle Mensah

He told the host that prophets must stay away from troubler with the law, apply wisdom in communicating their prophecies.

According to him, the way some of the prophets have communicated their prophecies lacked wisdom and did not follow the ethics of the prophetic ministry.

His comments come on the back of the directive issued by the Police Service to religious bodies on what the law says on the communication of prophecies.

The Ghana Police Service has issued a statement reminding the religious groups and Ghanaians that the directive was not limited to 31st-night watch services.

According to the Police, the law on the publication of information including prophecies that tend to cause fear and panic or put people’s lives in danger is not limited to December 31.

But should be adhered to daily, the Police statement said.

The Police reiterated that the law and the Police are not against religious practices or the performance of religious doctrines and beliefs such as prophecies.

“However, if such information is communicated publicly and undermine the laws of the state, the relevant laws and sanctions will be applied, the statement noted.

Apostle Nana Mensah, in his comments, posited some of the prophecies we have heard and witnessed in the country are problematic.

”We must walk in wisdom in whatever we do. Without wisdom, you would not be able to do anything and succeed. Some people are unable to achieve their dreams and goals because they fail to apply wisdom in what they do…I employ our prophets to apply wisdom in communicating their prophecies,” he added.

”We have genuine prophets, but they lack the wisdom in communicating their prophecies. There are comments when you make them in a Palace, you would be sanctioned. You could make the same comment ts outside the Palace, and no one would be bothered,” he said.
