The Member of Parliament for Talensi, B.T Baba is calling for the reshuffling of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
He wants the entire leadership of the GFA to be removed from office following Ghana’s poor performance in the ongoing 2021 African Cup of Nations Cup.
He however does not want this to be done by the government but by the members who constitute the General Assembly of the GFA.
To him, the FA has failed the people and must be shown the exit
He wondered why we had to change coaches and bring in Milovan Rajevac and yet what we expected could not be achieved.
For this reason, he has blamed the GFA for the works of the team and our poor performance.
Contributing to a discussion on the floor of parliament on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, he said whatever that has happened points to the fact that the GFA has failed.
He said the “GFA itself should be reshuffled. They deserve to be removed, not by the government because of the long hand of FIFA or the international sports federations. But by their own constituents. Those who constitute the General Assembly of the FA must rise up to this challenge.”
