A tipper truck with registration number, NR-153-20 kills about 5 year old pupil and her 10 month old sibling at Kalpohin Estates, today Friday, January 28, 2022.
The two , who were just primary school children were being sent to school on a motorcycle by their aunt when the accident occurred.
According to eyewitnesses, a bicycle rider crossed the motorcycle rider, when she applied brakes, the two children fell off the bike and the truck which was following them, smashed the two children.
This sad news have left parents and teachers in tears since morning. The children were rushed to the Tamale central hospital but the time time they reached there, doctors declared them dead already.
Meanwhile the northern regional police has since arrested the driver of the tipper truck to assist with investigation.
