Medical doctors at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi has served notice to embark on strike if management fails to pay the 13 month and vehicle maintenance allowance as agreed on 25th March 2021.
According to a statement sighted by Nyankoton Mu Nsem management of KATH has failed to honour the agreed Condition of Service, hence the reason to strike beginning tomorrow February 1.
The statement signed by the Vice Chairman of the Komfo Anokye Doctors Association (KADA), Dr. Kwaku Nyame said they e bent on embarking on the strike.
The group resorted to the action during their “extraordinary meeting” on January 14, 2022.
