A trailer loaded with cement has rammed into a taxi rank at Nsawam within the Nsawam-Adoagyiri municipal of the Eastern region.
An eyewitness, No Food for Lazy Man narrating the ordeal said he saw the long vehicle heading the Nsawam township failed brakes running into the taxi rank located at Hospital Junction (main junction from the town to the Nsawam Government Hospital).

Although the number of casualties is not known, some deaths were reported.
Some of the victims had their intestines gushing out with others having their legs and hands cut off.
A few taxis were badly damaged owning to the crash.

A few moments after this, another accident involving three vehicles also occurred around Prince Boateng Memorial School.

Persons who survived are in critical condition and have been sent to the hospital.
