Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko player Sarfo Gyamfi has advised Ghanaian coaches who manage our national team to pick our local-based players who play in our local league to blend with the foreign-based players
He advised in an interview on Rainbow Sports when he spoke to Isaac Warlanyo.
He posited that the foreign-based players, who are usually called to join the national team, are benched by their foreign clubs compared to the local players who play always.
”I think most of the foreign-based players sit on the bench of their clubs, so the local players who constantly play in our local league should be given the opportunity to play,” he said.
He also admitted that there is spirituality in football and he is not against any player who prays or engages in other forms of spirituality to back them to perform well, but he is against players who do spirituals to destroy the fellow player.
But quickly added that he was against5 players who use their spiritual activities to destroy other players.
He said there are consequences for players who engage in black magic to destroy other players.
