Pupils and teachers at the Kwadaso MA Municipal basic school have asked authorities to come to their aid and help construct a wall and provide a lighting system in the school.
The school says people have encroached on their school land and that has put the lives of the pupils and teachers in danger.
The management of the school told Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm that sex workers are using the school for their activities
Other persons also have sex in the school, headmistress Mrs. Cecilia Ofori Amanfo, said.
She also complained that wee smokers use the school to smoke even during school hours.
The headmistress said because the school lacks a wall, people just walk in and out of the school to do all manner of things. When you complain, they threaten to stab you.
“Sometimes mentally challenged persons come into the school to threaten our teachers and pupils. We are appealing to people to support us. Our school land has encroached and that is not the best. This is posing a threat to our pupils and teachers,” she added.
Some are also defecating in the school especially the classrooms. We close from school and return only to see feces, used condoms in the classrooms.”
