The lifeless body of a 58year-old man was discovered river Wankor in Wankor-Agya near Abesim in the Sunyani Municipality of the Bono Region on Tuesday, February 15, 2022.
Nicodemus Boampong, a co-tenant of the deceased said he was a Burkinabe but has been living in Ghana for several years and was into farming.
He also claimed that the deceased was a known drunkard but as to what killed him, they are not aware and waiting for the police to unravel that.
The body was conveyed by the Abessim police and deposited at the regional morgue for autopsy and preservation.
Meanwhile, some other residents have asked the Police to probe the matter and bring the offenders to book.
