A hunter, identified as Jay Henry, 62, has allegedly shot himself at Nyinahini-3nky3nseemu in the Atwima Mponua District of the Ashanti Region.
This website has further gathered that the hunter killed himself around 2pm yesterday, February 16, 2022, in his room.
Speaking with journalists, the Assembly Member for the area, Hon. Kwabena Karikari popularly known as Odaayegood, said the cause of his action is not known.
The body has since been deposited at the morgue awaiting autopsy.
Residents in the area have expressed shock at the incident wondering could have triggered the hunter to allegedly kill himself.
