If your music career is dead, revive it & leave GFA alone-Takyi Arhin to Omane Acheampong

February 17, 2022

An astute Football administrator who is also the General Manager of the Ghana premier league side Aduana Atars, Mr. Takyi Arhin has taken gospel musician Nicholas Omane Acheampong and one another individual, Abraham Boakye for their resolve to stage a demonstration against the Ghana Football Association over Ghana’s abysmal performance at the 2021 AFCON.

He has asked the musician to focus on his career and look for people to write songs for him if he is no longer fit for that job.

My gov’t prepared to support businesses & entrepreneurs- Prez

He was speaking on Rainbow Sports with the host Isaac Warlanyo Wallace.

He was responding to issues concerning the parliamentary select committee on youth and sports invitation to the Ghana Football Association and the captain of the national team Dede Ayew to answer questions on why the team performed poorly after the AFCON.

He said it was needles of parliament to invite the GFA and the captain Dede Ayew because the Sports Minister should rather be called to render accounts to the nation about the amount sent to  Cameroon and the amount left.

He added that the main priority should be how to see how we will qualify the national team for Qatar 2022 World Cup.

He insisted that Omane Acheampong and Abraham Boakye’s decision to demonstrate against the GFA is much I do about nothing and if his music is finished he should find someone to write songs for him.

To Abraham Boakye, he asked him to stop the noise because the days he used in mobilizing supporters to travel abroad so he could also get some benefits were long gone.

He said the GFA seat is not a political appointment so they should go and learn more.
