The Public-Private Partnership Forum Secretariat led by the Director, Isaac Asiam, has paid a courtesy call on the Turkish Ambassador to Ghana, Her Excellency, Dr. Özlem Ergün Ulueren.
The meeting was to discuss tourism trade bilateral relations, cultural exchange programmes and capacity building for the private sector tourism practitioners.
The Ambassador in her submission disclosed that the tourism potentials of his country and that of Ghana had potentials for both countries.
She was optimistic the meeting will foster close business-to-business collaborations to promote both destinations.
The outcome of the meeting resolved that the Private Sector Tourism Practitioners submit a detailed proposal on Fam Tour to both destinations through the PPP Department of Ghana Tourism Authority to see how best the two countries could organize exchange programmes.
Again she asked that a training program outline and proposal be forwarded to her office through MoTAC for her consideration.
She again expressed her worry about the high fee of the Covid-19 test and other related issues.
