Students, parents, teachers, and residents in the Central Region have resisted attempts to have the current headmistress of the Zion Basic School transferred.
According to them, since the headmistress was appointed, Mrs. Hilda Antwi Bosiako was appointed, the school has seen tremendous growth.
They disclosed she started as a class teacher and has successfully gone through the ranks to be appointed as the headmistress.
Registering their displeasure, the angry students, parents, and residents revealed that there has been a tremendous improvement under her leadership, and her transfer would be fiercely resisted.
“We positively believe if Mrs. Hilda Antwi Bosiako is maintained, the school will chalk a lot of success. She embarked on several developmental projects which have raised the hope of all students and parents,” one of the aggrieved parents said.
