Residents in Ntobronso Community have clashed with soldiers who set some excavators ablaze in the area.
A house is said to have caught fire following the burning of the excavators, a situation that led to the cash.
Rainbowradioonline.com has gathered that there is ongoing confusion at Ntobronso, in the Atwima Mponua District of the Ashanti.
The residents condemned the operation halt team for what they had done.
