The Member of Parliament For Builsa South Dr. Clement Apaak has reiterated that the Minority will not betray Ghanaians in changing their stance against the E-Levy.
He said their side remains opposed to the levy and no form of extraterrestrial or spirit or all combined can change their minds.
He noted that no human being can also change their minds in supporting the levy.
He was reacting a to the failure of the government in capturing the issue of the E-Levy in the business statement for the week ending March 11, 2022.
In his view, the E-Levy has held the state of the nation address hostage hence the inability of the government to present it before the House as required by law.
He wrote: KILLERE-Levy – The KILLERE-Levy is again missing in the Business Statement just adopted for week ending March 11th 2022.
As far as our Caucus is concerned, absolutely no entity; human, extraterrestrial or spirit or all combined, can change our resolve to vote against the killer E-Levy. Our vigilance remains high, we won’t wink.
We will not betray Ghanaians, we will not betray our rank and file, we will not betray ourselves, not today, not tomorrow, not next year! 137 no votes against E-levy stands. No retreat no surrender.
By the way, no date for SONA 2022 in the Business Statement. E-levy has taken SONA 2022 hostage hehehehe!
In Solidarity,
Dr. Clement Apaak
