Former deputy general secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho, has stated that although he was loyal to his former boss, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, he (Nketiah) stabbed him in the back.
Mr. Anyidoho said he served the party well and sacrificed for the umbrella family and yet, his former boss betrayed him and wanted to use him for his political expediency.
Appearing on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, he recounted how bad he was disrespected after his infamous ‘we are in a comfortable lead saga’.
According to him, he had made the comments based on evidence and figures that were available to him at the time.
He said nobody told him former President John Dramani Mahama was going to concede defeat even when he was holding the front at the time party members felt disappointed.
To him, the body language of Asiedu Nketiah in 2016 when Mr. Mahama was conceding defeat showed he was happy the party lost.
He said as a student of communication, the body language of the party’s general secretary showed he was a happy man because the NDC lost the 2016 polls.
He warned him to stop attacking him because he will soon expose him.
He told host Kwabena Agyapong that the general secretary made damning remarks about Mr. Mahama and the NDC and when these comments come public, he would be exposed and disgraced.
He, therefore, wants him to stop denigrating and attacking him.
He stressed, Mr. Nketiah can do this to anyone else but he(Anyidoho) will not allow him (Nketiah) House him for his political expediency.
He further declared that some persons in the party are attacking and accusing him with frivolous claims because they never nothing bad about him.
He said his work as deputy general secretary was too exceptional that he was not a lazy man.
