A young boy has allegedly been kidnapped by unknown persons in Mamprobi, a suburb in the Greater Accra Region.
Details available to Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm that the boy was allegedly kidnapped by abductors late Friday evening.
He had gone out to sell gizzard on sticks.
Identified as Kumi, his parents said they discovered some of the gizzards which he was selling abandoned at the scene where he was allegedly kidnapped.
The Mamprobi Police is currently investigating the matter.
They visited the scene where the victim was allegedly kidnapped to assess the scene.
Meanwhile, the family of Kumi had gone to seek the help of a spiritualist to invoke the soul of their son.
They were reportedly told the boy had been buried by his abductors.
At dawn on Sunday, when Rainbow Radio visited Chorkor where the boy is originally located, the news of his kidnapping was announced at the community’s information centre.
Residents were being asked to remember the family of the boy in prayers.
The announcer recounted a similar incident that occurred in the area involving a young girl who was also kidnapped but through prayers, she returned home safely.
