Cabinet has concluded its deliberations it held over the weekend.
After the deliberations President Akufo-Addo took some decisions aimed at mitigating the impact of the global economic difficulties on Ghana.
A statement issued by the Ministry of Information said the Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta will provide details of these measures later this week after consultations with key social and economic stakeholders.
The statement said the President adopted far-reaching measures at mitigating the depreciation of the cedi, ensuring expenditure discipline, protecting priority programs meant to grow the economy.
