President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has disclosed that the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta will on Thursday address the nation.
The Minister will address the nation on decisions taken by the government to address recent economic challenges facing the country.
The President disclosed this at a meeting with members of the Council of State.
He indicated that the address will give details of the government’s plans to tackle the challenges and revive the economy.
Cabinet over the weekend met at Peduase to consider some measures to address the current economic challenges confronting the nation.
Among other issues, the government has decided to review all 16 policies and programmes being implemented.
Meanwhile, the Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is also expected to address Ghanaians in April.
He has been challenged to address the nation on the economic difficulties we are confronted with just like he used to do when the NPP was in opposition.
